The Untold Struggles is Dawn’s recount of the struggles she encountered due to her misconception of what it is to be a true follower Jesus Christ. 
Like many people who assume that baptism or a similar rite of passage, absolves them from the daily struggles of walking the walk of faith, Dawn began to realise that the issues from the past don’t just disappear, they must be dealt with. 
     Throughout her book Dawn highlights the reality of dealing with unresolved issues from her childhood. As she charts her course, she tells us how these unresolved issues impact on every area of her life and in particular her understanding of whom Jesus is and the trust she should put in him.
